We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Document Controller. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing the flow of information within our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the creation, revision, distribution, and archiving of documents in both electronic and hard copy formats. Keep a track of all document’s correspondences and transaction, maintain and update all document registers and records on the electronic document management system.
  2. Registering, Receiving and sending documents for method statements, material submittals, RFIs, correspondences etc.Maintain accurate version control for all documents, ensuring that team members have access to the latest and approved versions.
  3. Establish and maintain a systematic filing system for easy retrieval of documents. Ensure all files are appropriately labeled and stored securely as a hard copy and in electrical form.
  4. Respond to internal and external requests for documents promptly, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure document compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  6. Work closely with various departments to understand their document management needs and provide necessary support.
  7. Responsible to assist all the needs of engineers Provide training and support to staff on document control processes and systems.
  8. Preparing monthly summary of revised and rejected submittals to distribute the work to person liable and to Identify areas for improvement in document control processes and implement enhancements for increased efficiency.

Qualifications& Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in document control or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Familiarity with industry-specific document control requirements (if applicable).
